Each event vehicle must pass a simple safety inspection. Your vehicle will be checked for the following items. If you do not pass the inspection, you will not be able to ride the trails that day. The items to be checked are clearly specified below so attendees will not have any surprises. To ensure a full weekend of trail riding, please verify your vehicle meets all of these requirements before you leave home.
Tech Inspection will be performed once, at the time of check-in for the event. Your vehicle must be inspected prior to making your trail selection.
The off-roading portion of the event will be on five or six trails over the weekend. Some new some old, some private and some public. The trails selected are more appropriate for moderate to aggressively built vehicles. Stock vehicles may attend, though there will not be trails for stock vehicles for all three days. Which trails will be used on which days is not known now, since it will be determined based upon the desired difficulty level specified by registrants.
It may be necessary at Trailfest 2010 to limit a couple of the trail rides to members of NOVA clubs only. We would prefer to open all trails to all attendees, but we will not know for sure if that is possible until the event. Any changes to this will appear here before the event.
