The driver will select a colored vulture sticker at registration based upon the vehicles build up. The colors available are green, blue or black just like the trail difficulty ratings at Rausch. The sticker should be placed on the vehicles windshield. General rig sticker guidelines are:
This will let trail leaders know the capabilities of your rig and make sure the group is appropriately matched. Of course a rig with a black sticker may choose to run green or blue trails all weekend. We would like to keep group sizes to around 10 vehicles or less. There may be several black or blue groups going out, and at least one green group. Usually the green group ends up running blues by the day's end. There's even a rumor that the green group crossed Rock Creek last year! Drivers will then sign up for the group they wish to ride with. The sign up sheet will list trail color, number, and trail guides name.
Trail lineup will be at the southern end of Rausch's parking lot( all the way to the left when you pull into the parking lot).
Rausch Creek is the premier off road park in the Northeast with over 3,000 acres. They have everything from stock trails to insane trails, including a man made competition area. Rausch hosts rock crawling and rock racing competitions throughout the year. See their website for further details.
Rausch Creek membership and entrance fees are not included in Trailfest registration. Download the Rausch Creek Membership Application, and Rausch Creek Parental Waiver if needed. Filling them out ahead of time will speed things up.
